Bath Sink Faucets Single Handle

When it comes to bathroom fixtures, the single-handle bath sink faucet is a popular choice for its convenience and sleek design. Replacing a single-handle bathroom faucet is a relatively straightforward task that can be completed in a few hours. Before you start, gather the necessary tools and materials:

Tools:

• Adjustable wrench
• Pliers
• Screwdriver
• Basin wrench
• Bucket
• Teflon tape

Materials:

• New single-handle bathroom faucet
• Faucet mounting hardware
• PEX supply lines (if necessary)

Step 1: Turn off the water supply.

Locate the water shut-off valves under the sink. Turn both the hot and cold water valves clockwise to turn off the water supply.

Step 2: Disconnect the old faucet.

Use the adjustable wrench to loosen the nuts that hold the water supply lines to the old faucet. Then, use the pliers to disconnect the water supply lines from the faucet.

Next, use the screwdriver to remove the screws that hold the faucet to the sink. Once the screws are removed, lift the old faucet up and off the sink.

Step 3: Install the new faucet.

Place the new faucet in the sink hole. Apply a bead of Teflon tape to the threads of the faucet mounting bolts. Then, insert the bolts through the holes in the sink and tighten them with the wrench.

Next, connect the water supply lines to the new faucet. Use the adjustable wrench to tighten the nuts that hold the water supply lines to the faucet. Be sure to tighten the nuts securely, but do not overtighten them.

Step 4: Turn on the water supply and check for leaks.

Turn on the hot and cold water valves under the sink to turn on the water supply. Check for leaks around the base of the faucet and the connections to the water supply lines.

If there are any leaks, tighten the nuts or bolts that are causing the leaks. Once the leaks are fixed, your new single-handle bathroom faucet is ready to use.
