Install Aquasana Under Sink Filter

Installing an Aquasana under-sink water filter is a great way to improve the quality of your drinking water. Aquasana filters remove up to 99% of contaminants, including lead, mercury, chlorine, and bacteria. They are also NSF certified to meet or exceed all applicable standards for water filtration.

Installing an Aquasana under-sink filter is a relatively simple process that can be completed in about 30 minutes. Here are the steps:

1. Gather your materials.

You will need the following materials:

Aquasana under-sink water filter
Wrench
Plumber's tape
Bucket
Towel

2. Turn off the water supply.

Locate the water supply valves under your sink and turn them off. There should be two valves, one for hot water and one for cold water.

3. Disconnect the old water lines.

Use a wrench to disconnect the old water lines from the water supply valves. Be sure to place a bucket under the lines to catch any water that leaks out.

4. Connect the new water lines to the filter.

Wrap the threads of the new water lines with plumber's tape. Then, connect the lines to the corresponding ports on the filter. The cold water line should be connected to the blue port, and the hot water line should be connected to the red port.

5. Mount the filter bracket.

The filter bracket is used to secure the filter to the underside of your sink. Place the bracket on the desired location and mark the holes with a pencil.

Drill pilot holes at the marked locations. Then, insert the screws into the holes and tighten them until the bracket is secure.

6. Install the filter.

Insert the filter into the bracket. Then, turn the filter counterclockwise until it is hand-tight.

7. Turn on the water supply and check for leaks.

Turn on the water supply valves and check for leaks around the filter and water lines. If you find any leaks, tighten the connections until the leak stops.
